About Dr. Daniel Hanon

Dr. Hanon, originally from St. Louis, MO, has called Kansas City home since 1999.  He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Molecular Biology.  While at Wisconsin, Dr. Hanon was a member of the “Hoofers”, a large student organization dedicated to exploring the outdoors with activities such as hiking, kayaking, rock climbing, and sailing.

 

Dr. Hanon graduated from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences with a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine (D.P.M.) degree in 1997, and subsequently completed a 2-year residency at the St. Louis Veteran’s Administration Hospital, with particular experience in post-traumatic injuries and management of diabetic foot infections.  His professional interests include Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgery, Diabetic Foot and Limb Preservation and Sports Injuries.

 

Dr. Hanon is an avid freshwater and saltwater fisherman and enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, photography and walking his dogs.  He is also active in Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Kansas City.
