About Kansas City Foot & Ankle

We Believe in…

  • First Class Medicine

  • World Class Patient Experiences

We believe that a visit to your doctor’s office should actually be a pleasant experience.  At Kansas City Foot and Ankle and the Heel Pain Center of Kansas City, we strive to make sure that every patient’s experience with us is not just pleasant, but first class.  We do this by partnering our patients with experienced, compassionate physicians and staff to find the right treatment options for their lifestyle, all while using the latest technology to get them back on their feet quickly and comfortably.

We have enjoyed a successful practice and have earned a respectable reputation in the medical community.  We have done this by providing quality, effective, compassionate care for our patients; listening to them, creating an atmosphere in the office where their doctor’s visit is actually a nice experience, and by maintaining good communication and rapport with referring physicians.  Our goal is to continue to expand the practice; continue to grow in both volume and reputation, all-the-while striving to improve upon the services we provide for our patients.

Our Technology:

At Kansas City Foot and Ankle, we utilize state of the art diagnostic and treatment technology, such as a digital x-ray system, diagnostic ultrasound, extracorporeal shockwave therapy (ESWT) as well as diode laser available for the treatment of fungal toenails and warts, and for treating other painful foot and ankle conditions.  We utilize tablet computers in the treatment rooms for EMR and x-rays.

We enjoy a healthy stream of new patients daily, thanks to our large physician referral base, as well as satisfied patients that are happy to refer their family and friends.  With the help of our full-time marketing director, we also maintain a very productive marketing strategy that has proven successful in attracting new patients and retaining our existing patient population.   Our doctors are engaged in the community.  We are constantly working to create and maintain relationships with referring providers and other sources of referral throughout the community.  We are out giving talks, sponsoring events and educating the public on foot and ankle health and the specialized services we provide at Kansas City Foot and Ankle.

KC Foot & Ankle Office

We treat patients like they’re the only ones in the office, even with a solidly packed schedule.  We try to create a unique and positive experience for our patients.  We treat our patients as we all expect to be treated when we are patients in other medical practices, taking all measures to stay on time, taking the time to thoroughly explain their condition in ways that they can understand and appreciate, and working with them to find the best treatment for their lifestyle.  We commonly get this type of feedback from our patients:  “I’ve been to three other doctors, and no one ever explained my condition as well and as thoroughly as you just did.”  When I walk into a treatment room I have a big smile on my face and nothing else matters but making that patient happy.  I expect, and patients receive, the same exemplary care from every staff member in the practice.

The following video is on our practice website and exemplifies our commitment to quality customer service:

We constantly survey all of our patients in order to understand what we’re doing right, and more importantly, what we’re not.  How can we make our practice better if we don’t know what’s wrong?  Here are some examples of feedback that I’ve gotten from patient surveys, which should give some insight into the type of service I expect to provide for our patients:

  • “I cannot think of anything more that you folks could have done to make my experience in the foot care arena more satisfying.  I am extremely pleased with the way I was counseled and cared for before, during, and after my recent hammertoe surgery.  Actually, the way I was catered to and cared for was almost ‘too good to be true’.  Dr. Green, you are doing everything right.  You set an excellent example for your staff, and I congratulate you for your good service and care to your patients.  Thank you.”  T.L.
  • “The efficiency by your staff does not allow me to ever finish an article in your magazines.  If there would be some way you could provide the patients with condensed versions eg. The Readers Digest, they would feel less frustrated.  LOL.”  D.B.
  • “Everyone in the office has been very friendly and helpful.  I am amazed that they remember me from the time before.  I think this office and doctors are exceptional.  I would recommend them to others!”  V.H.
  • “I believe my visit went well and I will be returning back.  When you feel like you can trust a doctor with your life, you don’t want to seek anyone else and you can usually get that connection on the first visit.  Thank you.”  T.G.
  • “Dr. Jameson answered all of my questions and seemed genuinely concerned about my issues. While I hope I don’t need to be seen again, if I do I know I will be receiving topnotch care.” J.G.

We also have a very robust website, and are constantly improving it and adding content.  Our website is designed to be educational, as well as a means in which patients and prospective patients can communicate with us and schedule appointments.  On our website, patients will find educational videos, blogs as we’ll as information regarding common foot conditions.  Check out our practice website:  www.KansasCityFootandAnkle.com.

About The Position:

We are looking for a doctor with an entrepreneurial mindset who wants to work shoulder to shoulder with us to build and grow the practice together.  We’re looking for a doctor who is interested in marketing to grow the practice; a doctor who is interested in practice management; a doctor who is willing to learn how to practice successfully as a private practitioner.  The doctor who applies for this position should truly be a self-starter; a self-motivated individual who is really looking for something exceptional, not just a job.

We’re looking for a well-rounded podiatrist because we practice the full scope of podiatric medicine and surgery.  Not all conditions are surgical, and can be treated successfully without the need for a trip to the O.R.  With that said, many conditions do necessitate surgical correction, so we’re looking for a doctor who has the surgical skills to perform any and all surgical procedures including rearfoot and ankle work.

The doctor that comes and works at Kansas City Foot and Ankle will learn how to practice very, very efficiently and very effectively as a private practicing podiatrist.  In our practice, we have systems and protocols that help manage and grow the practice successfully.   Be prepared to be engaged in our marketing plans to help grow the practice.

The ideal candidate for this position:

  • Wants to be a successful practitioner.
  • Has completed a three year surgical residency and is comfortable performing all aspects of foot and ankle surgery.
  • Understands the importance of treating people right and the value of great customer service.  Again, we provide first class medicine, while creating world-class patient experiences.
  • Is a team player.  We take care of each other.  We collaborate.  Sometimes we have to see each other’s patients.  And we understand that at Kansas City Foot and Ankle, our staff doesn’t work for the doctors.  Our staff works with the doctor’s in an effort to provide the best possible care and amazing experiences for our patients.
  • Will be highly motivated to learn as much as possible regarding the business of medicine, in order to become a highly successful practitioner.  All surgery and no business sense does not make for a successful practice.

What can you expect from us?  Our success is dependent upon your success.  In other words, it is as important to us that you become successful as it is to you.  The more successful you are, the more successful the entire practice is.  We are offering a complete compensation package including salary, production bonus, and benefits including professional liability insurance, health insurance, retirement plan and more.  We will discuss specifics as we move forward.  You can also expect to enjoy your time working in our office.  We maintain a very friendly, light atmosphere.  “If you don’t have fun at work, then work is no fun!”  🙂
